Last year’s remakes, produced by Vicarious Visions, received very high praise from both critics and fans of the series. The first two parts received incompletely updated graphics and visual effects. But the developers left the physical model, combinations of tricks, and soundtrack the same, for which they are very grateful.
Also, new characters have been added to the game. Over the past 20 years, many new stars have appeared in skateboarding, and developers have not hesitated to add them to projects. The game modes remain the same, but with them, Create-A-Park and Create-A-Skater have been added, as well as the ability to play online.
It is difficult to say how much the graphics will suffer. Nintendo Switch has weaker hardware, even against the background of PS4 and Xbox One. But the remasters themselves cannot boast of directly advanced graphics, so the capabilities of the hybrid console should be enough.
