The ITHome portal, citing an insider from the popular Chinese social network Weibo, reveals the specs of the flexible Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 smartphone, which will premiere this summer.
It is claimed that the hardware base of the device will be the flagship Snapdragon 888 chipset from Qualcomm. Moreover, with this SoC, the novelty will be sold in all regions. Rumors that Samsung has ditched its Exynos chip in the Galaxy Z Fold 3 are confirmed.
The external display of the device will be 6.23-inch, the internal one will be 7.56-inch. The latter is made using LTPO technology and can boast an adaptive refresh rate (maximum – 120 Hz). The selfie camera is sub-screen here (it appears only when it is working, the rest of the time it is not visible), a 10-megapixel Sony IMX374 sensor is used. The main camera is triple, with lenses of 64, 12, and 5 MP.
The gadget will receive a 4275 mAh battery with a 25 W high-speed charging function. It also claims protection against water and dust in accordance with the IP53 standard.
