Samsung has introduced a new version of the Galaxy S20 FE smartphone. The gadget lacks support for fifth-generation 5G networks and is based on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 chipset, Octa-core processor. The device debuted in Vietnam and Malaysia but will be sold in other countries in the future.
Recall that earlier the Galaxy S20 FE, depending on the region, was offered with a 4G modem and an Exynos 990 processor or a 5G modem and a Snapdragon 865 chip. Earlier it was reported that Samsung completely stopped production of the model with Exynos 990, leaving only the variant with Snapdragon 865.
The rest of the parameters of the Galaxy S20 FE have not changed. The gadget is equipped with 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of flash storage. The device has a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 by 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Inside is a 4500 mAh battery. The main camera is triple, with sensors of 12, 12, and 8 MP. There is protection against water and dust according to the IP68 standard.
The Galaxy S20 FE 4G, powered by Snapdragon 865 with 8GB RAM + 128GB flash storage, is priced at $558 in Malaysia. In Vietnam, you can purchase a version with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. It is now discounted by $446.
