With a design that seeks to renew its mobile platform, LG presented Velvet, its new smartphone with a stylized appearance, accompanied by a distinctive rear camera with a symmetrical arrangement in the form of raindrops, as the South Korean firm had anticipated in April.
With a launch in South Korea, the new LG Velvet features a 6.8-inch OLED display, has a fingerprint reader on the display, and a small notch on top for the 16-megapixel front camera. Inside it is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 processor, accompanied by 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage capacity.
One of the distinctive aspects of the LG Velvet is its 48-megapixel main camera, accompanied by another 8-megapixel wide-angle camera and a third 5-megapixel camera available to capture the depth of field. Equipped with IP68 protection, resistant to liquids and dust, the LG smartphone has a 4300 mAh battery with fast and wireless charging.
The LG Velvet will go on sale in South Korea at $ 700, and the company told LA NACION that they intend to bring it to Argentina, although without giving more details.
