Lenovo has announced the IdeaPad 5G 14M 2021 laptop, which supports fifth-generation mobile networks. The novelty will be available at an estimated price of $1080. The device uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 processor. It contains eight Kryo 495 cores, an Adreno graphics accelerator, and a Snapdragon X55 modem. The amount of LPDDR4X RAM is 8 GB.
Display with a diagonal of 14 inches has a resolution of Full HD – 1920 × 1080 pixels. The case is 14.9 mm thick and weighs 1.23 kg for the laptop. Power is provided by a rechargeable battery with a capacity of 51 Wh.
Equipment includes a 512 GB NVMe solid-state drive, a Wi-Fi 802.11ac wireless adapter, a 720p webcam, 2W stereo speakers, USB Type-C (× 2), and USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A interfaces, standard 3 .5mm headphone jack.
Also announced is the IdeaPad 4G 14M 2021 laptop with similar specifications, but with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8c processor with 4G / LTE support. The devices are running the Windows 10 on ARM operating system.
