Instagram has just added new features that seek to combat online bullying with improvements in the management of comments in the publications of the social network of photography and digital video of Facebook. In this way, the platform will now allow managing multiple unwanted comments, with the aim of eliminating, blocking, or limiting the scope of conversations that promote online bullying.
In this way, with this new tool, Instagram users will be able to better manage the conversation on their accounts and, at the same time, they will be able to maintain a positive environment in the exchange of messages. This feature, available on both Android and iOS, allows you to select and delete up to 25 comments simultaneously, in addition to limiting or blocking access to a particular account.
In addition to eliminating negative comments, Instagram will also highlight the mentions of users who contribute their contributions to positive interaction. Gradually, the application will begin to offer this feature that will allow giving more relevance to certain comments that will set the tone for the exchanges in the publication.
In turn, Instagram will now allow controlling the use of labels and mentions, a resource that is usually a method used to carry out online harassment on the platform. Now you can choose who can perform this function, which will be limited to the accounts that the user follows. In turn, the use of labels and mentions can be blocked completely, both in the comments and in the posts on Instagram Stories.
