Steam has published new statistics, thanks to which you can track the most popular models of video cards and processors in demand by gamers. Compared to the previous period, there is no preponderance in the direction of Intel components, the palm still belongs to AMD.
Moreover, AMD has only strengthened its position in the market, and its processors account for 29.5-36.3%. This is not to say that Intel is doing badly, the technology giant still feels confident in the budget segment. For example, the model’s Core i5-10400F and Core i3-10100F are very popular. But the first place in the list of processors went to AMD with the Ryzen 7 5800X.
If we talk about video cards, the most popular model was the GeForce GTX 1650. The second and third places went to the RTX 3060 and MX230 models. Given the not-so-simple situation with PC components caused by the pandemic, such a rating can hardly surprise anyone.
