The problem seems to be mainly in Eastern European countries.
The technical problem also affects the social networks WhatsApp and Instagram, which are connected to Facebook, for which serious problems or complete inability to connect are also found.
On the website downdetector.com, users from the affected areas leave their complaints in the comments because the social network does not work in their area.
Problems on Instagram appear to be present in other areas as well, such as northwestern Europe and the east coast of the United States.
At present, there is no official announcement on what happened, however the first reports of technological sites attribute the above to a technical problem.
It is recalled that a similar situation, which had been attributed to a technical problem, had occurred on 14 April and 14 March.
