Sony today announced that the new DualShock controller for PS5 is now supported on all Apple platforms with the latest iOS, including iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Apple TV running 14.5 and Mac running macOS Big Sur 11.3. Detailed instructions on how to do this appeared on the official Sony PlayStation website. However, there are several negative points. Every time the user wants to switch devices to iPhone or back to PS5, he will have to manually pair the DualSense.
The built-in microphone, headphone jack, and speaker are not working. A broken speaker is a serious drawback as in games like Returnal, it is used in combination with haptic feedback to add a more immersive gaming experience. Streaming quality will, as always, be highly dependent on your home wireless network.
