Daniel Alegre, President of Activision Blizzard, has announced that Diablo 4 will push the action RPG genre forward and surpass all fan expectations. Unfortunately, he did not name the timing of the release of one of the most anticipated games of our time.
Currently, there are three games in the franchise in development – Diablo 2: Resurrected (a remake of the original Diablo II), Diablo 4, and Diablo Immortal for mobile platforms running Android and iOS operating systems. According to Mr. Alegre, each of these games will not only expand the Diablo universe but also please its old fans. Plus, all three games are sure to attract new audiences as well.
In early May, Activision Blizzard reported for the quarter ended March 31. Then it became known that the company plans to release a mobile Diablo Immortal before the end of this year. Diablo 2: Resurrected will also be released in 2021. But the appearance of a full fourth part of Diablo before 2022 should not be expected.
