The iPhone 12 palette takes on a new shade: purple. It will be available for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini, which are still more colorful than their Pro counterparts.
Pre-orders for the new color begin this Friday, the first units will be available on April 30. Apple has taken care to match the color of the aluminum frame with that of the rear glass panel.
And all that care and attention to color perfection can’t be lost by using the wrong case, oh no. Apple is also launching a new MagSafe leather case and a new deep purple leather case.
There are also new silicone sleeves, available in Capri Blue, Pistachio, Cantaloupe, and Amethyst. And a new leather wallet in a color called Arizona. All of these accessories will be available later today.
The iPhone 12 is the world’s most popular smartphone, says Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of global marketing. And with purple, the mini 12 and 12 are now available in five different colors.
