Apple has announced that it has renewed its podcast app and will launch the Apple Podcast Subscription, a global marketplace for finding premium subscriptions from your favorite creators, in 170 countries starting May.
In iOS 14.5, listeners will have access to a redesigned Apple Podcasts app with an enhanced search tab that provides quick access to top charts and categories.
All creators have access to the updated Apple Podcasts Connect Dashboard.
The Apple Podcaster Program, which includes all the tools needed to offer premium subscriptions, is available for $19.99 (US) per year, each subscription is priced by the creator, billed monthly by default, and creators are charged for an additional year. We can provide billing.
Listeners also have access to free trials and sample episodes provided by the creators. Apple’s commission rate is 30%, and for annual subscription fees, the commission rate is 15%.
